We all have to start somewhere, and as any other artist out there I start with a sketch. This is one of the most important phases in the design-process for almost anything. But I mostly sketch my illustrations in order to create that piece of work I just like without it’s finished yet. I always want to make sure I get a smile on my face when I’m drawing my next illustration or something else I need to design for a client or myself.
I got a lot of requests from people to see some of the sketches I make before I create anything. I wanted to scan my Moleskine, but since I don’t have my scanner attached at the moment, you all have to do it with my dgital sketches. I promise I’ll post some Moleskine scans/shots soon, but enjoy these in the meantime!
